Dr. Edward Mungai

Dr. Edward Mungai (PhD) Director Mediatrix Health Services Ltd Dr. Edward Mungai is currently the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Planning and Development at Strathmore University, Nairobi Kenya and faculty member at Strathmore University Business School. He is a member of Kenya Government’s Ethics Commission for Co-operative Societies (ECCOS) and a facilit8 (UK) accredited mediator. Dr. Mungai is a director of Strathmore Dispute Resolution Centre (SDRC) and Mediatrix Health Services Ltd among others. Previously, Dr. Mungai was Committee Member of the European Foundation for Management Development, Deans Across Frontiers, chaired the Board of the Association of African Business Schools, served in the Board of the Government of Kenya’s Youth Enterprise Development Fund and was Dean of Strathmore University Business School between 2008 and 2012. Beyond his professional responsibilities at Strathmore University, Dr. Mungai is a consultant in family business, entrepreneurship, innovation, and disputes resolution through mediation. Additionally, and as a hobby, he facilitates courses for young couples and single professionals.
